Crazy about yoga

Good Morning
It happened to me, like it has millions of people across the world. I have fallen in love with Yoga. Everything about yoga is amazing. I try to do some form of yoga at least once a day. Here are some of my favourites:

1) Mandy Ingber has a fantastic DVD that is easy to do but HARD work. Jen Aniston is one of her clients, how could it NOT be fabulous?

2) Sadie Nardini is FANTASTIC! The best thing about her is that she has lots of FREE yoga videos on youtube that I use all of the time, especially if I am in a rush.

My absolute favourite one is her 20 minute Yoga for Weight Loss

She also has a Yoga for your Face that I have been using that is also wonderful

A little too 'poncy'

Last night my hubby and I joined his family for a combined birthday meal for his mum & sister.  I had been hearing about J.Sheekey Seafood Restaurant in London for some time so suggested we go there.  I knew ahead of time that it was an 'upscale' restaurant but in the end that is what actually let the restaurant down.

I don't mind paying top dollar for an amazing experience, but this wasn't one.
The decor was SO SO (they were trying too hard to not appear to be trying very hard, if that makes sense????), the food was GREAT (love fish), the cliental were forgettable and the service was not what you would expect; staff were a little too cool in their attitude but they were not 'slick' enough to carry that off.  After the mains arrived we waited about 5 mins for the sides to arrive, in a place like this you wouldn't expect that and other little hiccups in the evening.

So that was our night, being with the family was wonderful & the food was great but I will not be rushing back, especially when there are sooo many other wonderful restaurants out there, many at a fraction of the cost.

Me in my new £16 dress! Yes it is a bargain and was from Matalan
Delicious scallops for a starter

Sorry I didn't get very many pictures of the food, sorry for that as it was THE BEST part.

Healthy & Easy Salmon

I love salmon. Everything about it is SUPER yummy and super healthy and good for you. The only problem is that I get bored of salmon with a squirt of lemon. I was SO pleased when I stumbled across this recipe.
I adapted it a little by adding pistachio nuts- AMAZING addition
In a food processor mix pistachio nuts, panko crumbs, salt & pepper.
Melt coconut oil and add to the mixture

Then coat the salmon with Dijon mustard (skin facing down)

Finally pat the mixture onto the Dijon mustard and cook for about 20 mins
Enjoy! I know we certainly did.  We added a side salad of spinach, strawberry, red onion & balsamic

AMAZING new product

On the weekend I happened to be browsing in one of my favourite little boutiques, and stumbled upon these amazing perfumes.  As you can see by the picture I ended up buying two of them, I could not choose my preferred scent.  I think that your preference for scent differs depending on your mood.  Every girl should have at least two smells on the go....if not more.

The first scent is called Dead Sexy: deep vanilla, exotic wood, white orchid & ebony.
YES it is AS good as it sounds, in fact I am inhaling the gorgeous smell as I type. I am saving this one for special evenings with the hubby.

The second scent is called Kabuki: sugared grapefruit, lychee & sweet jasmine.  Obviously a lot sweeter than the first scent BUT perfect for the summer time and going out with your girlies.

I urge you to go out and get these if you have never smelt them before, AMAZING!
PS .  Sadly I have not been given any of the perfumes for free so this is my own opinion

A little after work luxury

I am going to be totally honest, I do not really like Monday. I never have. I find it difficult coming back from a lovely weekend with friends and family, going at my own pace STRAIGHT into work's pace....NOT my thing BUT today I came home and decided to knock up THIS bad boy:

I made it by getting my Nespresso fired up

And added these lovely ingredients
1. Rice Milk (Almond milk is also FAB
2.  70% Cocoa nibs
3. A drop of Canadian Maple Syrup
4. A nice BIG sprinkle of cinnamon

IT TOTALLY WORKED
What is your Monday luxury?

CUTNESS Alert

OK I may have been a little too eager BUT my hubby insisted that with a NEW car we needed to take care of it. And that meant getting our little FUR GIRL a 'car blanket'. I don't know what I was more excited about, the car or going shopping to find the perfect 'car blanket'. Well I found one, Belle tested it out and LOVES it! WIN win all around. Does it matter that it is actually a blanket for a baby girl, NOT a dog??? NNNNNNAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Can you imagine how bad I will be when I actually become a MUM? We already have a 'doggy seatbelt' for her to keep her safe and secure on our journeys. Believe it or not she actually really likes car rides, which makes our life seriously easy.

Out with old IN with the new

Today is THE day that my hubby has finally bid farewell to his beloved convertible
BUT I am VERY excited that he has replaced it with a really fabulous car.

I know his Audi was a fantastic car, BUT it was not very practical especially as we live in England. The roof hardly went down, and believe it or not there was one journey that we actually had to drive with me holding an umbrella! We were on the highway with the roof down and the highway was under road works so you could not pull over on the side for about 8 miles. And yes the skys opened up and yes I had to grab the umbrella (the speed was down to 30MPH and we were doing about 15MPH so it was a LONG 8miles). Every single car got a kick out of it and honked their horns, gave us THUMBS up and even took our picture. THE other MAJOR problem with his car was that there was only 1 CUP HOLDER???? Imagine that! So basically any car ride I had to ALWAYS hold my own Starbucks which was not fun. Our new car has 5 cup holders I LOVE IT. OH and I HAD to add this picture of my Hubby looking TOTALLY SMUG Driving his new car....FLAT white all the way
Its my turn to drive it next...LOOK out UK
